CONGRATULATIONS TEXAS!!!

With the support of LMT, The Texas Motion Picture Alliance has played an integral role in the passage of the following bills:

HB 873: Created a enhanced and flexible incentive program.

HB 2521: Creates guidelines for preferred vendor status for Texas based companies in producing media-related services for the State

 

SB 1929: Creates media production development zones which encourages the creation and development of production infrastructure like sound stages.  

HB 873: A full funding request of $62 million dollars was passed by both the House and Senate.
